It starts from the hotel through the Salar de Atacama basin, where we cross Tambillo, a small forest in the middle of the desert. Next, we visit the Toconao poblo, its colonial church and its craft shops. From here we leave for the Great Salar de Atacama, visiting the Chaxa Lagoon, part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve.
The tour continues through the village of Socaire, located at an altitude of 3,250 m.a.s.l. San Pedro is 89 km away. It is a city of pre-Hispanic origin characterized by its crops and its churches.
We continue to the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons, elevated plateau, located at 4,200 meters above sea level, surrounded by the Andes Mountains. Then we continue on the international road to Argentina to get to Salar de Talar (Las Piedras Rojas), where we did a short walk in the place. Finally we return to San Pedro to arrive at approximately 5:00 p.m.
